Because Health physicians prescribe limited controlled substances based on in-person consultations. However, there’s no guarantee that our doctors will write you a prescription.
By law, we are required to have an initial in-person visit prior to prescribing controlled medications. After evaluating your information, our doctors only prescribe if they are confident that they will be safe, effective, and appropriate for you. Your physician will also require you to have follow-up appointments to maintain a physician-patient relationship. Consultations can be via video or phone consultation on our platform.
